BCPとは？「工場が止まったらどうする？」に備える取り組み

BCPってどんなこと？
「BCP（事業継続計画）」とは、自然災害やトラブルが起きたときでも、会社の大切な仕事を止めないための取り組みです。
たとえば――
「いつもの工場が使えなくなったら？」
「急に製造ができなくなったら？」
そんな“もしも”に備えて、他の場所でも同じ品質で製品をつくれる体制を整えておくことが、とても重要になります。

わが社の取り組み
当社ではBCPの一つとして、秋葉ダイカスト様との協力体制づくりを進めています。
お互いの工場を行き来しながら交流を深め、技術や設備の理解を共有。
「いざ」という時にもスムーズに対応できる関係づくりを大切にしています。

岐阜から6時間、その先に見えたもの
今回はその取り組みの一環として、
当社の製品が秋葉ダイカスト様でも製造できるかの検証を行いました。
金型を岐阜から6時間以上かけて運び込み、いよいよチャレンジ。
初めての環境での製造でしたが、秋葉ダイカスト様には大変温かく迎えていただき、現場の皆さまのご協力のもと――
無事に製品を完成させることができました！
この成功は、単なる「試作」ではなく、
いざという時にもお客様への供給を止めないための、大きな一歩です。

これからも「止めないものづくり」を
BCPは一度やれば終わりではありません。
実際に試し、改善し、そしてまた備える――その積み重ねが重要です。

BCP: What if we suddenly can’t manufacture?

What is BCP?
BCP means Business Continuity Plan.
It is a plan to keep a company working even when disasters or problems happen.
For example:

What if our usual factory cannot be used?

What if we suddenly cannot make products?
To prepare for these “what if” situations, we make a system that lets us produce the same quality products in another place.

Our Efforts
As part of our BCP actions, we are building a strong partnership with Akiba Die Casting. Co., Ltd.
We visit each other’s factories and learn about each other’s machines and skills.
This helps us work smoothly together when something happens.

A 6-hour Trip and What We Saw
To test our BCP plan, we checked if Akiba Die Casting. Co., Ltd can make our products.
We carried our mold from Gifu for more than 6 hours and tried making the product there.
It was our first time to try it in their factory, but everyone welcomed us warmly.
With their help, we were able to finish the product successfully.
This success is not just a test. It is an important step to make sure we can keep supplying products to our customers.

BCP is not something you do only once.
We must test, improve, and prepare again and again.
